Some things you need to know

  • Cost to do the programme is only $149.00 for the full day.
  • You'll spend the day at the venue from 9.15am till 5pm.
  • Please bring your, learners, restricted or full license.
  • Please bring your own lunch and refreshments with you. Most venues do not have anywhere to purchase food. Taupo and Hampton Downs are the only venues that have onsite cafes. Lunch break is only 30 mins.
  • You will need to bring your own vehicle (with current registration, warrant of fitness and insurance). Whilst you’ll get a chance to experience the latest technology and vehicle safety innovations in a vehicle, it’s important that you understand the capability of your own car, and how it responds in different situations. That’s why many of the exercises on the day are conducted in the car you’re learning to drive in.
  •  Before you arrive please remove any loose items that may move around in your vehicle i.e water bottles, shoes etc. You will be experiencing the likes of emergency braking hence loose objects in the car are not permitted.
  • Your parent (or guardian) is required to attend with you– this is important as we want to make sure the learning continues after you leave the Street Smart day.
